Dust Canyon
A large scar in the earth that formed a canyon long ago now houses many viscious sandstorms. Sand is deep on the bottom, and the rock faces are smooth as glass, making it next to impossible to climb. A few cliffs overlook the canyon, with hidden caves behind it.
Very few animals live here, but the ones that do are mostly reptiles like snakes and lizards, and a few scorpians and spiders. Not a nice place to be, and the prey isn't very tasty.
A small oasis might appear to some who are caught in this wasteland.
